KARACHI – Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Sheikh said that Sindh province has been deprived of gas even after producing the most gas?, if you are not capable to run Gas then hand over SSGC to Sindh, we have the capacity to run it and we will show you how to produce and distribute it.
He was addressing a press conference in the committee room of Sindh Assembly along with Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation and Food Mr. Mukesh Kumar Chawla and Advisor to CM for Agriculture Mr. Manzoor Hussain Wassan.
He said that all the three provinces including Sindh have not been represented in OGRA including HESCO, SEPCO and are not included in any consultation, these factors are creating a sense of deprivation among the peoples of Sindh, and Sindh has to suffer even in case of any shortage.
Imtiaz Sheikh said that it is the incompetence of the current federal government’s governance.
Indicating to Prime Minister he said that Prime Minister, you should take action against the incompetents, changing the faces of ministers for tice or thrice won’t solve the problems.
He said that now the Prime Minister himself has come to the fore to defend his government after the failure of his incompetent spokespersons.
Imtiaz Sheikh said that it seems that after snatching food from the mouths of the people, inflation, now advisor to the Prime Minister Sania Nishtar is about to initiate Ehsas Wood Program and will distribute the firewood among people contrary to providing them gas, but the firewood are also expensive these days.
Imtiaz Sheikh advised the federal government that they have no ability and capability, their only politics is accusing others, they should hand over Sui Southern Gas Company to the Sindh government, and we will run it with the successful public private formula, we will increase the production and will distribute it well ourselves.
