KARACHI – On the 30th National Day of Moldova, the honorary consul general Mian Mehmoodul Hassan hosted a reception which was attended by the honorary consul general of Romania Tariq Saood, representative of Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Pakistan Mr. Jurabek Zirgizbekov, special assistant to Sindh chief minister Liaquat Askani, consuls general of different counties, businessmen, industrialists and city elite. On the occasion, a cake was sliced to celebrate the 30the National Day of Moldova.
Mian Mehmoodul Hassan speaking on the occasion said that the bilateral trade with Moldova would be promoted. He said there are opportunities to increase export of textiles, medical equipment and other commodities to Moldova.
Tariq Saud in his speech said that Pakistan is eager to make friendly relations with other countries, which he said would also prove to be a milestone in national development.
Liaqat Askani said that the ambassadors in different countries were playing a crucial role in development of the country. He said there is a need of comprehensive planning to increase bilateral trade.
Mr. Jorahuk said that exchange of trade delegations should be further increased to promote bilateral investment and trade.
On the occasion, former president of KCCI Abdul Majeed Aziz, Chief Executive Mediflow Pharma Syed Farooq Bukhari, President Pak-Sri Lanka Business Forum Aslam Pakhali, Director Pak Belgium and Luxemburg Business Forum Syed Khuram Bukhari, Tahir Malik and others were present.
