Karachi: The newly elected Kausar Aslam Assistant Governor RY 2021-22 Rotary International Districts 3271 with Aslam Khaliq Founder & Executive Secretary Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus were also present on the occasion of the First Board Meeting of Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus at their residence.
Addressing the First Board Meeting, Ali Haider President 2021-22 of Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus, said that we have to work hard for the prosperity and success of Pakistan so that the country is free from poverty, unemployment, illiteracy and health problems as well as energy crises.
He said that the Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus achieves its goals. Ali Haider said that more and more Rotarians are being set up to do more welfare work together, especially to solve the basic problems faced by the people of rural areas. To provide clean drinking water, RCK Nexus is providing tube wells, ambulance service, water filtration plants and solar energy in these rural areas to raise their standard of living while establishing cattle farms for agriculture and livestock breeding.
Zubair Baweja General Secretary 2021-22 Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus said we need to support education through scholarships, donations, and service projects around Pakistan. He also said providing free education for needy peoples and making schools healthy to providing clean, fresh water to every public school in Pakistan so students can be healthier and get a better education.
Asad Fecto Director FECTO Group/ Chairman Second Cup Coffee Company said we help the people of rural areas and also help Rotarians welfare works.
Dr. Khalid Hussain Sheikh Director Health 2021-22 RCK Nexus said Rotary has been working to eradicate polio for more than 35 years. Our goal of ridding the world of this disease is closer than ever. He also said Polio remains endemic only in Afghanistan and Pakistan but if we continue working on this matter one day we will have a polio-free Pakistan.
