“Need to resolve infrastructure issues of the SITE area and mentioned that there is no proper garbage dumping point in the SITE area. As a result of which garbage is dumped at different places which has literally transformed the SITE area into a large ‘Kachra Kundi’, he stressed to stop this practice”.

SITE President also drew attention of Secretary Industries towards the harassment of industrialists by DMC staff on the matter of Trade License and stated that DMC has no authority to collect Trade License from SITE as the area comes under the jurisdiction of SITE Limited.

Abdul Hadi further mentioned that not only this, Stamp Duty officers are also harassing industrialists in the name of collection of stamp duty. They visit the factories and pressurize them to get stamp duty on all their purchases and appear before them in their office with details of all purchases and book of accounts which is creating trouble for the industries. He concluded that in the present technology-driven era, orders are received over email & WhatsApp and has demanded that stamp duty officers should be refrained from harassing industrialists in the name of collection of stamp duty.
