Binance AI Systems Prevent $4.6 Billion in Potential Losses in First Half of 2026
Binance’s AI systems help detect fraud and protect millions of cryptocurrency users.
Binance’s artificial intelligence systems helped protect more than 8 million users and prevent approximately US$4.6 billion in potential losses during the first half of 2026.
The cryptocurrency exchange said it has expanded AI across security, anti-fraud and compliance operations to respond to increasingly sophisticated digital threats.
Binance said its AI systems intercepted millions of scam and phishing attempts during the period. They also blacklisted more than 42,000 malicious addresses and issued over 14,000 real-time risk warnings every day.
The company currently operates more than 100 AI models. These systems handle around 80% to 90% of real-time risk decisions.
However, human analysts continue to oversee complex and high-risk cases. This approach allows Binance to combine automated detection with human judgment when threats require deeper assessment.

AI also supports identity verification, account security, payments and transaction monitoring across the platform.
According to Binance, its AI-enabled Know Your Customer (KYC) processes have achieved up to 100-fold efficiency gains in specific workflows.
The company has also deployed more than 24 AI initiatives across compliance and user onboarding. These initiatives aim to improve detection while making risk controls more efficient.
Binance Chief Security Officer Jimmy Su said the company continues to combine AI-driven scale with human expertise.
He added that this approach remains important as criminals develop new forms of fraud and social engineering.
The latest figures highlight the growing role of artificial intelligence in protecting digital-asset users and strengthening security across cryptocurrency platforms.
