KARACHI: A new medical tourism partnership between Pakistan and Türkiye is set to strengthen bilateral cooperation in healthcare, healthy ageing, investment, and innovation as the Bukhari Group of Companies and the Ibni Sina Institute prepare to sign a Strategic Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Karachi.
The signing ceremony will take place on Monday, July 27, 2026, at the Bukhari Group Head Office in Lakson Square, bringing together government officials, healthcare leaders, industry representatives, diplomats, and members of the media.
Strategic partnership to expand healthcare cooperation
The MoU will be signed by Mr. Sajjad Sardar, Group CEO of the Bukhari Group of Companies, and Dr. Kemal Ayd?n, President of the Ibni Sina Institute and President of the World Aging Council.
The agreement aims to promote collaboration in medical tourism, healthcare services, healthy ageing, AI-driven healthcare innovation, tourism, investment, and knowledge exchange between Pakistan and Türkiye.

Government officials to attend ceremony
The event will feature Dr. Arshad Abdullah Vohra, MNA, as the Chief Guest.
Mr. Ehsan Mazari, Adviser to the Chief Minister of Sindh, will attend as the Guest of Honour, while Mr. Fayaz Ali Shah, Managing Director of the Sindh Tourism Development Corporation (STDC), will participate as the Special Guest.
Senior representatives from the healthcare sector, government institutions, industry, and the diplomatic community are also expected to attend.
Strengthening Pakistan–Türkiye ties
Organisers say the partnership reflects the growing relationship between Pakistan and Türkiye in healthcare and investment.
The initiative seeks to encourage innovation, facilitate knowledge sharing, and create new opportunities for collaboration in advanced medical services and healthy ageing programmes.
The Bukhari Group said the agreement represents an important step toward expanding cross-border healthcare cooperation and enhancing medical tourism between the two countries.
