Prime Video has confirmed that the second season of Off Campus will move its central storyline to the relationship between Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis after the series achieved a major breakthrough in its debut season.

According to the platform, Off Campus attracted 36 million viewers worldwide within its first 12 days of release, making it the third most-viewed debut season for any series in Prime Video’s history. The show also became the platform’s most-watched debut season among women aged 18 to 34.

Season one centred on the relationship between Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham and turned Briar University into one of streaming’s most talked-about fictional settings.

For season two, the spotlight will shift to Allie Hayes, played by Mika Abdalla, and Dean Di Laurentis, portrayed by Stephen Kalyn.

The series follows a structure familiar to readers of Elle Kennedy’s bestselling book universe, with each season focusing on a different couple connected to Briar University’s elite ice hockey team while maintaining an ongoing ensemble storyline.

Series creator Louisa Levy said the team is excited to continue Allie and Dean’s relationship after introducing their story during the first season. She also reassured viewers that Hannah and Garrett would remain an important part of the broader cast.

Returning cast members include Ella Bright, Belmont Cameli, Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks and India Fowler, while Broadway performer Phillipa Soo is also set to appear in a recurring role.

The series continues under the leadership of Louisa Levy and television producer Gina Fattore, with the creative team aiming to maintain the balance between relationship drama, friendship and personal growth that helped establish the show’s early success.

While the lead romance changes, the series remains focused on themes of identity, relationships and navigating early adulthood as the next chapter unfolds at Briar University.
