Lahore, 18 June 2026: The 21st editions of IFTECH Pakistan 2026 and Plasti& Pack Pakistan 2026, officially opened today at Expo Centre Lahore, bringing together leading local and international companies, technology providers, manufacturers, industry associations, and trade professionals from across the globe.
The premier exhibitions were inaugurated by Mr. Faheem urRehmanSaigol, President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), who attended as the Chief Guest. Also present on the occasion were Mr. Imran Rehman, Chairman of the Flexible Packaging Association of Converters of Pakistan (FLEXPAC), and Mr. Aamer Khanzada, Managing Director of Pegasus Consultancy (Pvt.) Ltd., along with distinguished international delegates and exhibitors participating in the exhibitions.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Faheem urRehmanSaigol highlighted the importance of industrial exhibitions in promoting technology transfer, investment, innovation, and international trade. He emphasized the role of Pakistan’s manufacturing and food processing sectors in driving economic growth and export development.
Mr. Imran Rehman appreciated the organizersfor providing a world-class platform that connects local industry with global technology leaders, enabling businesses to explore new partnerships and modern manufacturing solutions.
Organized by Pegasus Consultancy (Pvt.) Ltd., the three-day exhibitions have attracted participation from more than 200 exhibiting companies representing over 32 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Malaysia, Netherlands, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Türkiye, UAE, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The exhibitions showcase the latest innovations in food and beverage processing, ingredients, packaging, plastics, printing, labeling, converting technologies, automation systems, milling technologies, and industrial machinery.
A major highlight of the opening day was the International IFTECH Conference 2026, held under the theme “Future of Food Processing: Smart, Sustainable & Export-Ready Food Systems.” Industry experts, researchers, policymakers, and business leaders gathered to discuss emerging trends in AI-driven manufacturing, climate-smart food systems, food safety, smart packaging, digital supply chains, and export competitiveness.
The event is proudly supported by leading industry stakeholders, with Tetra Pak Pakistan Ltd. serving as the Lead Sponsor. The exhibitions are further strengthened through the support of national and international industry associations, research institutions, chambers of commerce, trade bodies, and media partners representing the food processing, packaging, agriculture, plastics, milling, and manufacturing sectors.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent industry leaders, corporate executives, exhibitors, diplomats, and trade visitors from Pakistan and abroad, reflecting the growing international significance of the exhibitions and Pakistan’s expanding role as a regional manufacturing and technology hub.
The exhibitions will continue until 20 June 2026 at Expo Centre Lahore, welcoming trade visitors daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
