Canada ties gained fresh attention after a high-level meeting between Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi and Canadian High Commissioner Tariq Ali Khan in Islamabad on 18 June. The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Canada.

The Canada ties agenda highlighted trade expansion, investment opportunities, and people-to-people engagement. According to official remarks, both sides emphasized long-term collaboration across multiple sectors.
