A grand China–Pakistan exchange event was held on May 4 at the China-Pakistan Deep Lo Cultural Exploration Center, celebrating 75 years of diplomatic relations and cultural friendship between the two nations.

The ceremony was attended by former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf as chief guest, along with prominent participants including Wang Li and representatives of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Pakistan branch — Wang Yaodong, Liu Yanming, and Ren Liangbo.
The event also brought together members of the All Pakistan China Friendship Association, cultural activists, educators, and students, including a delegation from Apex Education System led by Principal Fahad Ahmed Khan, as well as the Uni International team headed by founder and CEO Max Ma.
Proceedings began with the national anthems of Pakistan and China, followed by the unveiling of a Chinese calligraphy message board reading “Long Live China-Pakistan Friendship.” A cake-cutting ceremony marked the 75th anniversary milestone.
Speaking on the occasion, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf reflected on the longstanding diplomatic ties and shared insights into the evolution of bilateral relations, often described as an “Iron Brothers” partnership.
Representatives from China State Construction Engineering Corporation highlighted key infrastructure projects undertaken in Pakistan, showcasing the depth of cooperation under ongoing development initiatives.
A key highlight of the event was a cultural tour of the center, where participants experienced traditional Chinese intangible heritage, including paper-cutting art. The activity served to promote cultural understanding and strengthen people-to-people connections.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment to further enhancing the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between Pakistan and China, reinforcing decades of mutual trust, collaboration, and shared development goals.
