LONDON : A recent study has revealed that screen time among newborns is increasing at an alarming rate, which could lead to health problems. According to experts, this process can affect their ability to speak, learn and concentrate, and it is not the screen time but its use that is the real problem. According to research conducted by the British institution University College London, almost three out of four children who are only 9 months old use screens daily, while some children spend more than three hours in front of the screen every day. According to experts, excessive screen time at this age can have negative effects on children’s development, including delayed language learning, reduced social interaction and shortened attention span.
