After winning the toss, Qalandars elected to bat and posted a challenging 199/6 in their 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman led the innings with a fluent 53 off 39 balls, hitting 10 boundaries, while Mohammad Naeem provided a brisk start with 30 off 19 deliveries. Haseebullah Khan’s unbeaten 40 off 28 balls and Sikandar Raza’s explosive 24 off 10 balls ensured a strong finish. Captain Shaheen Shah Afridi added a late flourish with 12 runs off two balls, taking the total close to 200.

Chasing the target, Hyderabad Kingsmen struggled to find rhythm, eventually being bowled out for 130. Marnus Labuschagne top-scored with 26, while Riley Meredith remained unbeaten on 19. Qalandars’ bowlers maintained relentless pressure, with Ubaid Shah, Sikandar Raza, and Haris Rauf claiming two wickets each, supported by Mustafizur Rahman and Shaheen Afridi with one wicket apiece.

Due to ongoing regional austerity measures, this edition of PSL is being played without spectators, with matches limited to Karachi and Lahore and the opening ceremony cancelled.
