Rabeya Jalil’s solo exhibition, Lines and Language, opens on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, from 4 – 7 pm at Canvas Gallery.
“The work critiques a visual language system, identifying connections and challenging the binaries of the serious and the satirical, of high and low art, and of the values associated with cultivated and uncultivated taste.”
Rabeya is a visual artist and art educator based in Lahore, Pakistan, with a BFA from the National College of Arts ( NCA ) Lahore and a Masters in Education from Colombia University, New York as a Fulbright Scholar.
Rabeya is currently the Head of Painting at NCA, founding member & co editor for the Journal of Art & Design Education Pakistan (JADEP), a project of the NCA, and co – director of Conversations, an online talk show.
The exhibition remains open daily until Thursday, December 4th , 2025, from 11 am – 7 pm (closed Sundays)
