She has shared some pictures of her wedding on the social media platform Instagram. Zaira Wasim has shared two pictures from this important day of her life, in one she is signing the marriage certificate and in the other picture she is standing with her husband. However, Zaira Wasim did not show her or her husband’s faces in any of the pictures, nor did she provide any information. Along with her photos, she wrote only two words, “Accepted.” Zaira Wasim played the role of wrestler Geeta Phogat in Aamir Khan’s film “Dangal” at the age of 16. Zaira Wasim rose to fame with the film Dangal, released in 2016, after which she worked in ‘Secret Superstar’ and also won awards. Zaira Wasim, who hails from Srinagar, was last seen in the film ‘Sky is Pink’ alongside Priyanka Chopra. After saying goodbye to the world of showbiz, Zaira Wasim requested her fan pages on social media to remove her photos. She wrote in her message, “Hello everyone! I want to thank everyone for your continued love and kindness. You have all been a source of love and strength to me, thank you for supporting me through everything.” “I request you to please remove my pictures from your accounts and ask other fan pages to do the same.” Zaira Wasim had bid farewell to acting in 2019, saying that she now wanted to focus on religion. The Dangal girl had announced in a Facebook post that after five years of being in films, she had come to the conclusion that this was not where she wanted to be.
