Mombasa, Kenya, October 19, 2025 – The Second Memon Leadership Conference is set to take place on October 21 and 22 at the Paradise Hotel in Mombasa, Kenya. The international event will bring together prominent Memon leaders and business figures from across the globe to discuss community development, cross-border trade, and technology collaboration.
According to Rafiq Suleman, Chairman of the East Africa Chapter of the Memon Leadership Conference and former Chairman of the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan, the event will host delegates from various countries including Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, Mozambique, the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Thailand, and others.
The Pakistan chapter will be represented by a delegation of around 25 to 30 participants, including notable business leaders such as Aqeel Karim Dhedhi, Abdul Rahim Janoo, and other respected members of the Memon business community.
Rafiq Suleman highlighted that the first Memon Leadership Conference was held in Karachi from January 19 to 22, 2020, and served as a platform to unite Memon leaders globally. “The aim of this conference is to bring Memon leaders together, promote mutual understanding of challenges, encourage networking, and strengthen the global Memon community by sharing business opportunities,” he said.
He further added that the 2025 conference will include discussions on cross-border trade, business collaborations, and technology transfer, as well as opportunities for inter-community cooperation and economic empowerment.
