Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has introduced a 10% discount on tickets for flights departing from Canada to Pakistan.
According to a PIA spokesperson, passengers are encouraged to take advantage of this offer before it expires on February 9, 2025. Tickets purchased under this promotion will be valid for travel between February 9 and May 20, 2025. This initiative aims to attract more bookings on PIA’s international routes, providing travelers with a cost-effective option for their journey.
The spokesperson also confirmed that the discount applies to all flights between Canada and Pakistan during the specified period.
Meanwhile, a seven-member delegation from the UK’s Department for Transport arrived in Pakistan on January 27, 2025, to assess the country’s aviation standards. The audit aims to facilitate the reinstatement of Pakistani airline operations to the UK. A positive evaluation could lead to the removal of restrictions imposed in 2020, allowing PIA and other Pakistani carriers to resume flights to the UK.
