Jabr Al-Azeeby, Emirates’ Vice President Pakistan said: “Emirates and Pakistan share a special relationship which goes back over 33 years. These additional flights will provide even more options and convenience to our Pakistani customers during the peak travel season around Eid. Students studying abroad – whether in the Middle East, Europe, and the US – can conveniently return to their universities in time for the new term. Pakistan is a major market for Emirates and we take great pride in the role we play in providing global connectivity for our customers – families, business and leisure customers who are travelling to Dubai and beyond to our wide network of over 155 destinations. Emirates wishes everyone Eid Mubarak!”

Since the commencement of operations in Islamabad on 1st January 1999, Emirates has carried more than 4.4 million passengers from the city. Dubai has been the most popular destination for passengers traveling from Islamabad through the last 20 years. Religious travel to Jeddah, Medina and Baghdad was very frequent while London, New York, Manchester and Birmingham were also very popular destinations for leisure and business travel for Emirates customers traveling from Islamabad.

Pakistani travellers fly better with Emirates as they enjoy an award-winning and comfortable travel experience in Economy and Business Class. Customers across all cabin classes have access to 4,500 channels of entertainment on Emirates’ ice system, from the latest movies to TV shows, music and games.

The Emirates experience extends to complimentary beverages and regionally inspired meals, as well as the famed hospitality of the airline’s multicultural cabin crew, including crew from Pakistan. Emirates also offers a generous baggage allowance of up to 35kg in Economy Class and 40kg in Business Class.
