Northern Territory,Western Australia : The Chamber NT would like to acknowledge and highlight Pierce’s outstanding contributions to the growth of our community.

Pierce’s journey to becoming CEO of Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation was anything but conventional. Originally from country Victoria, he moved to Yulara in Central Australia to take a short-term contract in a Management role. What was meant to be a three-month stint turned into an eight-year experience, where he gained invaluable insights into Indigenous community engagement and leadership.
Reflecting on his path, Pierce admits that his initial understanding of the Northern Territory was limited, even confusing Yulara with Kakadu’s Crocodile Hotel when discussing his move with friends and family. However, he quickly fell in love with the Territory, where he has now lived for over 17 years, and he remains deeply committed to its communities and lifestyle.
