KARACHI: The “Keep Beach Clean Run 2024,” featuring 10K and 5K races, will
be organized by World Athlon in collaboration with the Pakistan Navy &
Pakistan Road Runner on Sunday, September 15. The event will take place at
7:00 am at the Pakistan Naval Academy Outdoor Sports Complex in Manora.
According to Faizan Ahmed, Chief Executive of World Athlon, the initiative aims
to promote beach cleanliness, protect marine life, address the impact of
industrial waste, and highlight the significance of sustainable practices like
desalination.
The event is expected to attract participation from prominent personalities
and citizens alike, emphasizing the collective responsibility towards
environmental conservation.
In end, cash prizes and shields will be presented to winners & runner ups.
