Karachi, June 10, 2024 – A Free Medical Camp was successfully organized by the Pakistan US Alumni Network (PUAN), in collaboration with the Pak Global Maheshwaris Forum (PGMF), Dr. Essa Laboratory, Tabba Heart Institute, and Rotary Club, on Sunday, June 9th, 2024, at Parsa City, Garden Road, Karachi. The event aimed to raise awareness among low and middle-income groups about the importance of regular medical check-ups, blood testing, and essential healthcare services.
The camp provided a wide range of free medical services to promote health awareness and deliver accessible medical care. Experienced healthcare professionals offered general health check-ups, blood tests for cholesterol and complete blood count (CBC), blood pressure and diabetes screening, dental check-ups, and specialist consultations in various fields, including cardiology, general medicine, orthopedics, dermatology, ENT, gastroenterology, gynecology, and pediatrics.
The event saw an impressive turnout, with 700 individuals benefiting from the services provided. Dr. Essa Laboratory played a pivotal role, conducting over 500 blood tests and 200 bone mineral density (BMD) tests. The community praised the efforts of PUAN, PGMF, Dr. Essa Laboratory, Tabba Heart Institute, and Rotary Club for organizing such a beneficial medical camp. Attendees expressed their gratitude and emphasized the need for continued initiatives to enhance health awareness, provide medical screenings, and offer consultations.
