Karachi: The Dawoodi Bohra community successfully concluded the 3rd edition of School at hon 2024, a three-day inter-school sports event. The sports extravaganza culminated in a vibrant closing ceremony at Al-Nadil Al-Burhani Old Queens Road, graced by His Excellency Muhammad Kamran Tessori, the Governor of Sindh, as the event’s chief guest.
School at hon 2024 showcased a diverse range of sports, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship. The Award Distribution Ceremony celebrated outstanding athletes, leaving behind a legacy of unity and talent development. Over 900 students from 7 schools participated in cricket, volleyball, throwball, archery, and athletics, contributing to the overall success of the event.
Commending the visionary leadership of His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, Governor Tessori underscored the vital role of sports and fitness in youth development. He also acknowledged Al Nadi Al Burhani’s efforts in promoting sports activities and a healthy lifestyle in Karachi.
During his speech, Governor Tessori expressed gratitude for the community’s contributions to education, health, and sports. His Excellency commended the organizers for their exceptional efforts in making Schoolathon 2024 a resounding success, emphasizing the crucial role such events play in nurturing emerging talents among children. He concluded by affirming the importance of sports in building character and fostering discipline.
