LAHORE: Payment of Taxes & collection of taxes is a national responsibility that must be performed in national spirit to make Pakistan a self-reliance country stated by Azmat Javed CEO of Grand Group and chairman of the Industrial Solutions Committee of Lahore Chamber.
He complimented & congratulated Excellency Justice Abdul Waheed Kakar the prime Minster of Pakistan who stated that the government has given a tax collection target of 82billions rupees and to meet this target Agriculture sector Retail sector & Real Estate sectors are going to be included in the tax net.
Javed said this decision is in the national spirit and will generate huge money for the country to spend on education & health sectors & social sector projects.
Javed said the circulation of money will also ease several problems of a white-collar citizen of Pakistan. He also endorsed the Prime Minister’s statement that raising tax by 15% to GDP is a good program but for this, we have to work hard to promote MAKE IN PAKISTAN & export more & import less.
We need to promote digitalisation promote the single window concept and stop the menace of under-invoicing.
Lastly, he requested to simplify the Procedure of tax submission & improvements in the withholding tax. He said that all departments must give due respect to the taxpayers and this will increase the increase the tax net.
