Karachi: Annual dawat-e-haleem given by Pakistan Association of Press Photographers (PAPP) with support of Commander Builders at Karachi Press Club was attended by political leaders, religious figures, print and electronic media and dignitaries.
Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab said our ties with photo journalists will continue. Just as KMC has been with photographers in past, it is maintaining this relationship in future as well.
I pray for photographer brothers. Commander Muhammad Zakir said that photographers play an important role in journalism. We talked about taking country towards development. We all have to play our role for development of country.
Senior journalist GM Jamali said that with the passage of time, importance of media increased. Media should have developed but suffered degradation.
