The celebration of World Memon Day was observed with a ceremony at K.C.H.S Family Park, organised under the auspices of Memon Iconic Women (MIW), highlighting the social, cultural, and welfare contributions of the Memon community, particularly women.

The event was led by World Memon Day Council Ambassador and President of Sakan-e-Sheza Trust Erum Saaim, who said the occasion provides an important platform to recognise the historical and ongoing services of the Memon community. She emphasised that women have played a vital role in social development through their skills, dedication, and hard work.
Patron-in-Chief Feroz Ali Kamadi also addressed the gathering, stating that Memon women have consistently contributed to both family and societal progress and deserve greater appreciation and recognition.
The event was attended by several notable figures, including Iqbal Masood, Arsalan Pervaiz, Shariq Jamal, Shabbir Memon, and former Memon Federation President Hanif Motlani, among others.
The ceremony featured cultural activities, food stalls showcasing traditional Memon cuisine, and a cake-cutting ceremony. Around 20 women were also honoured for their contributions in social, economic, and welfare fields.
Organisers said the event aimed to strengthen community identity, promote unity, and encourage the younger generation to stay connected with cultural values and traditions.
