Faisalabad : Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Women Entrepreneur Division, in collaboration with the Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FWCCI) : Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Women Entrepreneur Division, in collaboration with the Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FWCCI), successfully organized a comprehensive workshop titled ‘Investment Readiness Program’ on 20th May 2025, at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The interactive session was designed to equip women entrepreneurs, particularly those in the early stages of their ventures or operating as small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with the practical tools, financial knowledge, and strategic insights needed to access capital and scale their businesses.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Saad Ashraf Raja, Founder Edlytica, who deliberated on several core areas essential for business growth and investment preparedness. These included strategic business planning using the Business Model Canvas, understanding financial fundamentals such as profit and loss, cash flow management, and budgeting, as well as developing investor engagement skills through pitch deck preparation and elevator pitching techniques. The session also covered various funding options, such as bank loans, angel investors, and venture capital, and explained how to prepare key documents (data room) to present to potential investors clearly and professionally.
Approximately 30 women entrepreneurs attended the workshop and actively participated in discussions. The session encouraged questions throughout, allowing participants to clarify concepts and receive targeted guidance based on their individual business needs. Attendees appreciated TDAP’s initiative in raising awareness and providing practical, hands-on knowledge that could be immediately applied to their business operations. The workshop concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, recognizing the active engagement and commitment of all participants.
