Swat : Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) organized a seminar on June 11, 2025, at the University of Swat focused on access to finance foe women entreprenuers and SMEs and promoting women entrepreneurship.
The event featured insightful presentations by Mr. Harun Khan, Deputy Chief of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), and Ms. Rabia from SBP’s Finance Section, highlighting various SBP schemes for women entrepreneurs. The Bank of Khyber (BoK) team, led by Qazi Samad, Resident Shariah Board Member from BoK Headquarters Peshawar, shared details of their financing schemes, including Islamic finance options. Over 80 women entrepreneurs and students from the Departments of Management Sciences and Commerce participated in the seminar.
The TDAP team also briefed attendees on the organization’s role in supporting women-led businesses. Participants lauded the collaborative efforts of TDAP, SBP, and BoK in fostering economic opportunities for women in the region.
