Thousands Gather in Panjgur to Honour Pakistan’s Martyrs on Defence Day

PANJGUR: A large public rally was held in Panjgur, Balochistan, to mark Defence and Martyrs’ Day, with thousands of citizens participating to pay tribute to Pakistan’s martyrs.

Political and social leaders, traders, students and people from different walks of life attended the rally.

Participants carried national flags and expressed their commitment to unity, solidarity and brotherhood.

Thousands of citizens paid tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan. They said the sacrifices of the martyrs have played a vital role in protecting the country and its independence.

They said the nation remains grateful to those who laid down their lives for the country. Their sacrifices, they added, will always be remembered.

They also expressed their love for Pakistan and reaffirmed their resolve to stand alongside the country’s security forces in defending the homeland.
