Ameena Saiyid, managing director of Lightstone Publishers, Farhatullah Babar and Fazil Jamili, president of The Karachi Press Club spoke on the occasion.
Ameena said Lightstone Publishers has published over 250 school textbooks and over 25 novels and non fiction books of general interest since its inception in 2019.
She thanked Farhatullah Babar, Fazil Jamili, Ghazi Salahuddin and Nadia Ghani, publishing director, and Raheela Baqai marketing director of Lightstone Publishers.
Farhatullah Babar said Mr Zardari did not know that he was writing this book which is based on his detailed diaries from the time that he was the Spokesperson. He said Zardari was neither a villain nor an angel, he was a human being. Mr Babar gave a detailed description of the entire book to a riveted audience who asked many questions.
The Zardari Presidency is available across Pakistan in bookshops.
