The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), in collaboration with the lasbela Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) and the National Rural Support Programme (NRSP), successfully organized a National exporters training program ( NETP) at Hub.
The event was attended by a large number of participants representing chambers of commerce and industry, academia, non-governmental organizations, and government departments.
Mr. Asif Kakar, Director TDAP South Balochistan, delivered a comprehensive presentation on export procedures, documentation, and marketing. Mr. Faisal Hussain provided detailed insights into PSW tools and their effective utilization.
Among others, Mr. Ali Akber Zehri of the Fishermen Cooperative Society, Mr. Azeem, Vice Chairman, Municipal Corporation Hub, and Mr. Gulzar Ahmed Gichki, Director Finance, LIEDA, addressed the participants. They underscored the significance of such awareness sessions and emphasized the need to further promote similar initiatives in the region, considering its considerable potential as an emerging industrial hub, particularly in the marble and handicraft sectors of southern Balochistan.
Mr. Idrees Jalbani , Assistant Director, focal person for NETP, TDAP Karachi delivered concluding remarks and recommended more frequent sessions to enhance the capacity of new exporters to enable them to connect with international markets.
