KARACHI, August 24, 2026: Tasdeeq Information Services Limited has joined the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) as its 11th new listing of calendar year 2026, following an exceptionally strong response from retail investors.

The company held its Gong Ceremony at the PSX Trading Hall in Karachi, marking the listing of what PSX described as South Asia’s first publicly listed credit bureau.

The transaction covered 219 million ordinary shares. Pre-IPO investors received 69 million shares at Rs2.35 per share, while the company offered 150 million shares through its IPO at a strike price of Rs3.

The total transaction size reached approximately Rs612 million.

Retail Investors Drive Strong Demand

The Tasdeeq IPO attracted substantial interest from individual investors. Its retail portion was oversubscribed 21.68 times.

A total of 11,358 applications generated participation worth around Rs2.4 billion. The response highlights growing interest in companies operating in Pakistan’s data, analytics and financial services sectors.

The listing also adds another technology-focused business to Pakistan’s capital markets. It comes as the PSX continues to attract companies seeking capital for expansion and long-term growth.

PSX Highlights Growing Investor Base

PSX Managing Director and CEO Farrukh H. Sabzwari welcomed Tasdeeq to the exchange during the Gong Ceremony.

Sabzwari said the listing marked the 11th addition to the exchange during calendar year 2026 and the third listing of the current fiscal year.

He said Tasdeeq’s listing as a licensed credit bureau reflected the growing diversity of companies choosing the stock exchange to raise capital and expand their businesses.

The PSX chief also said investor accounts had crossed 600,000. Millennials and Gen Z investors are increasingly joining the market through awareness programmes and digital platforms.

According to Sabzwari, the expanding investor base helped drive demand for the Tasdeeq IPO. He said the strong response showed continued investor interest in innovative companies and the long-term potential of Pakistan’s capital markets.

Tasdeeq Plans to Expand Consumer Services

Tasdeeq’s chairman and board led the listing ceremony and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to improving Pakistan’s credit information infrastructure.

The company aims to support responsible lending across banks, microfinance institutions and digital lenders.

Tasdeeq CEO Mumtaz Hussain thanked investors for their confidence and outlined plans to expand the company’s business-to-consumer (B2C) services.

Mohammed Sohail, CEO of Topline Securities and consultant to the issue, highlighted the exceptional retail response.

He said the strong demand led to an increase in the retail allocation from 25% to 35%. He described the move as the first of its kind in Pakistan’s IPO history.

The successful listing strengthens the profile of Pakistan’s data and analytics sector while adding fresh momentum to the country’s capital markets. It also reflects rising investor interest in businesses linked to financial technology, credit information and digital services.
