KARACHI: Mövenpick Hotel Karachi continued its month-long Grand Pan Asian Food Festival with an Indonesian culinary showcase at Lotus Court Restaurant from August 21 to 23.
The three-day event invited guests to explore Indonesia’s vibrant flavours, traditional dishes and rich culinary heritage through a specially curated dining experience.
The Indonesian food festival featured authentic recipes, aromatic spices and distinctive flavours from across the Southeast Asian country. Food enthusiasts, families, corporate guests and hotel patrons attended the showcase.
A Journey Through Asian Cuisine
The Indonesian weekend marked the third chapter of Mövenpick Hotel Karachi’s four-country culinary journey.
The festival previously featured Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Each weekend has introduced guests to the food traditions and distinctive flavours of a different Asian country.

The Indonesian showcase continued that journey by combining traditional dishes with an immersive dining experience. Guests had the opportunity to discover new flavours while enjoying an evening centred on Indonesian culture and cuisine.
Thai Weekend to Conclude Festival
The Grand Pan Asian Food Festival will conclude with a Thai culinary showcase from August 28 to 30.
The final weekend will complete the festival’s four-country gastronomic experience, following the Chinese, Japanese and Indonesian showcases.
The festival runs every Friday to Sunday from 7:30pm to 11:30pm at Lotus Court Restaurant, Mövenpick Hotel Karachi.
The month-long event aims to give Karachi diners an opportunity to experience a diverse selection of Asian culinary traditions under one roof.
