Karachi: The District Governor Rotary International District 3271 Syed Tahzeeb Ul Hassan Kazmi is welcomed Rotary International President, Jennifer E. Jones arrival to Pakistan. He said, under the banner of IMAGINE Rotary, Rotarians are striving to serve humanity with renewed determination while the spirit of service has increased further during the fight against the Corona epidemic.
Syed Tahzeeb Ul Hassan Kazmi said that Rotary International is the world’s largest organization providing social services, while the newly elected Rotarians will also expand the scope of social services based on their experience. So that basic life facilities can be provided to the people by working on more projects.
Syed Tahzeeb Ul Hassan Kazmi said that millions of Rotarians are working day & night on Rotary International projects to serve humanity and play an important role in providing basic facilities of life in rural and backward areas by providing opportunities for education, health, and business. Rotarians have started plantation campaigns all over our country to control environmental pollution.
He said that due to Rotary and Rotarian, polio has been completely eradicated from Pakistan, while the anti-polio campaign is continuing so that no case of polio is reported in any city or rural area.
He added said that not only this, but Rotary International is also trying to eradicate various diseases in the country because due to inflation, it is becoming difficult for the common man to get medical treatment.
He said that Rotary International also offered its services during Corona and besides the campaign to prevent Corona among the people; it also ensured the supply of masks, gloves, sanitizers, surgical beds in hospitals, and safety kits to doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff.
Further, Syed Tahzeeb Ul Hassan Kazmi said that Rotary International President Jennifer E. Jones will come to Pakistan to review the performance of Rotary International District 3271 and motivate Rotarians.
He said that inflation and unemployment are two major problems of the country, which are being worked on in various projects to deal with them. The completion of which will provide employment opportunities to the unemployed people in addition to doing small businesses.
