KARACHI- The third day witnessed one-sides affairs at the Brighto presents Osaka Naya Nazimabad Ramzan where K-Electric & Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) won comprehensively. Established stars Ahmad Shahzad, Umar Amin, and young pace sensation Muhammad Musa excelled.

In the first match, K-Electric’s fast bowler, Muhammad Musa kept on checking the Rehman Foundation as they managed 100 runs in 20 overs for 9 wickets. Musa got 3 wickets for 13 runs. Faraz Ahmed Khan was too very effective figures of 3 for 15 in his 3 overs. Shahbaz Javed’s 24 was the only notable contribution in the Rehman Foundation’s batting chart.

In reply, K-Electric comfortably overhauled the target with 9 wickets and 7.5 overs to spare. Umair Yousuf remained unbeaten on 47. Muhammad Musa was declared Man of the match.

In the second match, of the day, star-studded Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) rolled over the Khurram Manzoor led-Port Qasim Authority. Captain Umar Amin, Ahmad Shahzad laid a solid foundation with 96-run opening stand to achieve 160-run target, set by the PQA in 15.5 overs.

Umar Amin made elegant unbeaten 67 while Ahmad Shahzad hammered aggressive 54 runs and earned the man of the match award, a motorbike.

Earlier, batting first, PQA scored 159 runs for 5 wickets in their allotted overs. Muhammad Waqas led the batting unit with 55 off 32 while captain Khurram Manzoor scored 25 runs.

On Monday, Rehman Foundation will take on National Bank of Pakistan while KK Panthers will face Port Qasim Authority.
