The largest international solar energy exhibition, Solar Pakistan 2026, officially began at the Expo Centre Lahore on Friday, marking a major event in the country’s renewable energy sector.

Organized by Fact Exhibitions (Private) Limited, the three-day exhibition will continue from April 17 to April 19, 2026, featuring participation from more than 400 companies representing 10 different countries. The event brings together global manufacturers, technology providers, investors, and policymakers under one platform.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by senior officials from Punjab, including the provincial Minister for Energy and the Minister for Labour and Human Resources. Both dignitaries praised the initiative and highlighted the importance of transitioning toward alternative and clean energy sources.
Officials noted that Pakistan is currently facing rising energy demands and environmental challenges, making solar power a critical part of the country’s future energy strategy. They emphasized that Punjab holds significant potential for solar energy development and that such exhibitions play a key role in advancing this transition.
The exhibition showcases advanced solar technologies, including high-efficiency solar panels, smart energy storage systems, and modern inverters. It aims to strengthen collaboration between investors, technology companies, and government institutions to accelerate renewable energy adoption.
Saeed Khan Tanoli, CEO of Fact Exhibitions, said the event represents a milestone in Pakistan’s renewable energy journey. He added that the exhibition serves as a platform where innovation and practical solutions come together to promote a greener and more sustainable future.
Solar Pakistan 2026 is expected to play a significant role in promoting affordable and modern energy solutions while encouraging innovation, investment, and long-term sustainability in the energy sector.
