Secretary of State Mike Pompeo urges Gulf states to heal rift
RIYADH – U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said that a rift between Qatar and its Gulf Arab neighbors is threatening the regional unity.
Addressing a news conference in Qatari capital Doha today, he urged the Gulf nations to heal the rift and said that disputes between countries with shared objectives are never helpful.
Mike Pompeo is on an eight-day tour of the Middle East.
