Jamshoro Sindh : A certificate and shield distribution ceremony was held at Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro
(SABS) University of Art, Design, and Heritages, Jamshoro. The event recognized the students’
achievements in the “Latif in Colors” competition, organized in collaboration with Centre for
Knowledge Development (CKD).


The Vice-Chancellor of SABS, Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto, awarded certificates to the talented
students who participated in the competition and shields to their supervisors. The event was marked
by a sense of pride and accomplishment, as students were lauded for their creative expressions and
contributions to illustrate Latif’s poetry.


Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto praised the students for their dedication and encouraged them to continue
exploring and showcasing their artistic talents. She emphasized the importance of such competitions
in fostering creativity and preserving message of Shah’s poetry.


The “Latif in Colors” competition, named after the revered Sindhi poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai,
provided a platform for students to express their interpretations of his poetry and themes through
various art forms. The event highlighted the university’s commitment to promoting art, design, and
heritage, while also honoring the legacy of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai.
The CEO of CKD Prem Mathrani, Director Abdul Sattar Khushk, focal person Fazal Ellahi Khan
and others addressed the students during ceremony.
