Karachi Dated: 17th January 2025 : RTO-1 continues its actions against PoS violations; seals 2 medical stores on Friday While continuing it’s actions against PoS violations, the Regional Tax Office-1 has carried out 2 simultaneous actions against violation of PoS regulations. The first action was carried out in Zone 3 (Mehmoodabad) where a medical store was sealed under the rule 150 ZEP of Sales Tax Rules. The said medical store was neither registered in Sales Tax nor was integrated with FBR’s PoS invoicing system.

The second action was carried out in Zone 4 where a medical store was sealed owing to non-issuance of PoS integrated invoices. The action has been taken under the rule 150 ZEO of Sales Tax Rules 2006. The RTO-1 has sealed 4 medical stores this week and seven since inception of new year over violation of PoS regulations. These actions underscore the authorities’ strict enforcement of tax compliance and the significance of adhering to POS system regulations.

Chief Commissioner RTO-1 Dr Faheem Mohammad has said that actions against PoS violations will continue and traders are required to ensure implementation on PoS regulations in letter and spirit.
