Karachi : On October 18, 2007, a significant chapter in Pakistan’s political history unfolded with the return of Benazir Bhutto, the former Prime Minister and leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), to her homeland after eight years in self-imposed exile. Her arrival was marked by fervent support from thousands of PPP workers and supporters who gathered in Karachi, eager to witness the return of a figure they viewed as a symbol of hope and change.
Benazir Bhutto’s homecoming was highly anticipated. Her plane touched down at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, where she was greeted with a rapturous welcome.
