The Pakistan Romania Business Council (PRBC) has hosted the Consul General of Sri Lanka in Karachi, H.E. P.K. Sanjeewa Pattiwila, to advance discussions on strengthening trilateral trade cooperation between Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Romania.

The meeting was led by PRBC Chairman Sohail Shamim Firpo and Advisor & COO Atif Farooqi, with participation from health sector representative Akmal Sultan.
According to PRBC officials, the discussions focused on expanding trade facilitation, investment opportunities, insurance collaboration, and sector-specific partnerships, particularly in healthcare and related industries.
Officials emphasized the importance of building multi-country economic linkages to enhance regional connectivity and sustainable growth. The Sri Lankan envoy’s visit was described as a continuation of earlier engagements aimed at deepening economic cooperation among the three countries.
Both sides expressed optimism that the dialogue would lead to concrete business ventures and stronger institutional collaboration in the near future.
