UK-London: Sindh Education Minister & Labour Sindh Senator Saeed Ghani met with Mr. Saeed Mahmood (Senior Leader, PPP UK) at his residence in London. He expressed his serious concerns in the surge of COVID19 cases in Sindh and exchanged views on the closure of schools, social and political affairs.
Founder Chairman All Pakistan Youth Organization Mr. Humza Rizwan has given 3 point agenda on behalf of Grand Alliance of Private Schools, Sindh and emphasized on immediate implementation to continue the educational process.
- As per Mr. Murtaza Wahab’s statement, schools should also be given option to call 50% teachers immediately to conduct online classes so that learning process can sustain in educational institutions from 2nd August.
- Schools must be given priority if other sectors start opening from 9th August, and Secondary Sections must be allowed for Physical Classes in staggered manner after 9th August (can be twice a week model).
- Educational Institutions where teaching/non-teaching staff is fully vaccinated should be allowed to open. This act will also motivate those who are not getting vaccinated.
Mr. Mohsin Bari (President, PPP UK), Mr. Asad Nawaz (Vice President, PPP Greater London), Mr. Khawaja Moein Uddin (President, PPP Human Rights), Akram Shahdad, Dr. Fahad Memon and Barrister Amber Qureshi were also present in the meeting.
