On the issue of a possible long march or sit-in by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Islamabad Police asked for force from the provinces.
Islamabad Police has asked for 30,000 security forces personnel from the provinces on the issue of PTI’s possible long march or sit-in.
According to the sources, Islamabad Police has asked for 30,000 Police, Rangers and FC personnel from the provinces.
According to the sources, the capital city police has asked for 20,000 personnel from Punjab and 4,000 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 6,000 from Rangers.
Hundreds of containers will also be deployed along with police, FC and Rangers personnel for a possible PTI long march or sit-in.
According to sources, Islamabad Police will also dig trenches along with the installation of containers at the entrances.
According to the sources, the police of the capital have also ordered additional tear gas shells and drones to throw them.
According to sources, 3,000 FC personnel have reached Islamabad, while Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have not taken any decision regarding the deployment.
