Karachi (August 4, 2022): Today we observe Youm-e-Shuhada Police with great reverence and prayers for all the Police personal who laid their lives for their homeland. Ambassador at Large for Global Peace & Human Rights, Chairman Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui stated that the nation is proud of its police martyrs. In his message issued on the occasion of Police Martyrs’ Day, the ICPH chairman acknowledged the efforts of the police force to maintain peace and stability, and saluted the martyrs of the force who sacrificed their lives for the protection of the people. He also expressed solidarity with the families of the brave soldiers of the police.
Ambassador Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui Pakistan Police is our frontline force to stop crime and has made uncountable sacrifices to bring peace and stability to the country. Remembering all the brave police officers of Pakistan on the Police Martyrs Day who laid down their lives in the line of duty fighting terrorism being the first line of defense against all the enemies of the country. Martyrs’s Day is the day of recommitment of premises. This day reminds us to honour the supreme sacrifices rendered by our brother in Uniform.
Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqi said that the role of police in eradicating terrorism was historic and the sacrifices were unprecedented. He further stated that the Pakistan Police has made monumental sacrifices in the line of duty over the years; Chairman Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui said, despite limited resources, the police are fulfilling its responsibilities and I pay tribute to the officers and men of the police.
