Karachi – President SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, founder of Pakistan-US Business Council and former president FPCCI Iftikhar Ali Malik said that Pakistan has fulfilled all the conditions of the IMF and allied countries Saudi Arabia, UAE And China has also sent billions of dollars to Pakistan, so there is strong hope that the IMF program will be approved for Pakistan soon. Regarding the IMF program, along with the government, the leadership of the private sector has also come to the fore and the leader of the business community of the SAARC region, Iftikhar Ali Malik, while talking to the business delegations who came to greet Eid at his residence, said that Pakistan The industrial sector of Pakistan is facing a lot of difficulties and we have to avoid disruptions and problems in the performance of our private sector in any case and we have a special appeal to the IMF to finalize the loan program for Pakistan because Pakistan has All conditions of IMF have been fulfilled. Iftikhar Ali Malik said that Pakistan’s private sector is playing its role with great responsibility, we are providing positive suggestions to our government for the economic development of Pakistan, which can be greatly benefited from implementation. He said that due to low foreign exchange reserves and IMF conditions, the government had stopped imports, while due to low foreign exchange reserves, the devaluation of the rupee was very high, which resulted in low dollar rates in the government market. Due to this black market came into existence and dollars from abroad went to the black market thus one and a half billion dollars came less from the export sector, the export funds were blocked out, along with this due to the ban on imports at the country’s ports. In the case of stuck import containers, food, oil, medicines and necessary industrial raw materials and commercial goods could not be available in the country and due to the lack of supply of raw materials in the industries, the production process was also adversely affected due to which the value of industrial products decreased. Edition has been affected and the export orders could not be fulfilled in time. Iftikhar Ali Malik said that in such a situation, the private sector of Pakistan is facing a lot of losses and difficulties. I request the IMF that the region and the country In the best interest, the IMF program should be released as soon as possible and it should not be delayed at all. In the best interest of the world, the IMF should play an economic role and stay away from politics. He emphasized and said that I also appeal to Pakistani politicians to prioritize economic recovery over politics in the best interest of Pakistan. Efforts were made to bring it closer, but these efforts were affected due to the covid virus, but we are continuing our struggle, I am proud of my role in bringing the SAARC Secretariat to Pakistan and constructing the state of the art building of the SAARC Chamber in Islamabad. And I will continue to struggle to increase Pakistan’s trade with the countries of the region in the future. Iftikhar Ali Malik further said that I visited Washington DC (USA) along with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaukat Aziz in September 2002 for effective bilateral relations in the private sector of Pakistan and America. The foundation was laid and practical measures were set for a strong and integrated trade relationship between Pakistan and the United States. When Senator Hillary Clinton visited Pakistan, I represented the private sector while meeting with her. I believe that Pakistan The private sector is playing its role with great responsibility. Iftikhar Ali Malik said that I will become a field marshal of peace on behalf of the business community to stabilize the country’s economy through the youth generation of the country, era of unemployment. While my mission to increase regional cooperation in South Asia will continue, my efforts will be to ensure that Pakistan has good relations with other SAARC countries and that we get a large share in regional trade, increase exports at the regional level and  benefit to Pakistan
