Karachi, Ibrahim Hyderi : Millions of fishermen from Sindh’s coastal regions have expressed full solidarity with the Pakistan Army, stating that if the motherland ever faces danger, they are ready to board their boats and defend the nation on every front.
Fisherfolk from Ibrahim Hyderi, Keti Bunder, Jati, and other coastal areas said they are not just guardians of the sea but also soldiers of Pakistan. “We stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army. If our homeland is threatened, we will not hesitate to lay down our lives,” said a fishermen leader.
The fishermen further stated that the sea of Pakistan is not just a source of livelihood but a symbol of national pride and sovereignty. They assured the government and military leadership of their complete support, adding, “Our boats can carry the message of peace, but in times of need, they can also become instruments of defense.”
Sindh’s fisherfolk reaffirmed their commitment to stand with the nation’s defense institutions, whether the challenge is internal or external.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Pakistan Fisherfolk Forum, Mehran Ali Shah, has also declared full solidarity with the Pakistan Army. “Pakistan is our homeland, and we stand with our armed forces. Whenever the need arises, 4 million fishermen from Sindh will rise to protect Pakistan,” he said.
Chairman Mehran Ali Shah further stated that Pakistan’s sensitive defense institutions—including the Maritime Security Agency, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Rangers, Police, and the Pakistan Army—can count on the fishermen, who are ready to march with shrouds on their heads in defense of the nation.
