KARACHI – Today is a great day for Pakistan that the Honourable Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Imran Khan performed groundbreaking ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor to facilitate Sikh pilgrims visiting their holy shrine in Pakistan. This great initiative taken by the Primer demonstrates that consistent propaganda against our country for supporting terrorism is fabricated, baseless and a deliberate attempts by enemies of this country as well as Islam to distort good image of this peace loving nation as well Islam .
The ceremony also reflects respect, regard and tolerance, Pakistan has for all religions. This is high time India shall reciprocate positive gesture and good intention shown by Pakistan. Opening the corridor will allow Sikh Yatrees ease of access for their reverential place of worship which has been long outstanding demand.
Hospitality and warmth extended by the Primer to huge Sikh community invited on this memorable occasion would go long way to improve relationship between the two countries which would assist in bringing peace, harmony and improved ties in this volatile region. Pakistan has promptly done it’s part and now it’s India which has to respond favourably to this great initiative …..
