Karachi : Pakistan Media Club has organised an Inter University Debate Competition on the theme of 77th independence Day of Republic of Pakistan. Students spoke on the topic “naujawan agy barhy ga tou Pakistan agy barhy ga”. Kamran secured 1st position from Szabist University, Syeda Emalla got 2nd Position from Bahria University and Kulsoom Shakeel received an emerging speaker award from Bahria University.
Our esteemed judges were Irfan Ali Abro, Sadaf Fatima and Khursheed Rehmani shb, also Suleman Siyani hosted the event. All the participants were awarded certificates and books by worthy Chairman of PMC, Zia Khan.
Honourable senior journalists and anchors attended the event and shared public speaking tips with participants. Later on, under Go Green Movement, all the participants were given a plant to make Pakistan a greener, cleaner and healthier nation.
Head of the Literary committee of Pakistan Media Club (PMC), Hiba Qureshi shared her thoughts about the event: These kinds of events are healthy for our youth which enables their critical thinking and gives them confidence to play a crucial role in the progress of Pakistan.
