Karachi — Senior representatives of the Pakistan Australia Business Forum (PABF) held a meeting with Timothy Kane to discuss strengthening bilateral economic relations and enhancing cooperation between the business communities of Pakistan and Australia.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in detailed discussions regarding the structure, objectives, and membership framework of the Pakistan Australia Business Forum, which aims to promote trade, investment, and institutional collaboration between the two countries.
The discussions also focused on increasing private sector engagement and facilitating business-to-business (B2B) connections in sectors of mutual economic interest. Participants explored opportunities to expand commercial partnerships and create stronger channels for investment and trade cooperation.
The delegation appreciated the Australian High Commissioner’s support and interest in the initiative, emphasizing the importance of sustained diplomatic and business engagement in advancing bilateral economic relations.
Both sides expressed optimism about future collaboration and agreed on the need for continued dialogue to strengthen partnerships between Pakistani and Australian enterprises.
The forum also extended an invitation to High Commissioner Timothy Kane to visit Karachi for further engagement with the business community and to continue discussions aimed at deepening economic cooperation.
