ISLAMABAD – A 15-member delegation from Oman’s Bousher Bikers Club arrived in Islamabad on Friday, marking a positive step toward promoting adventure tourism in Pakistan.
The Omani bikers received a warm welcome at Islamabad International Airport, where they were greeted with flowers and hospitality. Filled with excitement, the bikers expressed their eagerness to begin a ten-day motorcycle journey through Pakistan’s northern regions.
One of the bikers remarked that this journey, starting from Muscat, symbolizes the beginning of a memorable adventure through Pakistan’s stunning northern landscapes.
Organized by Pakistan’s Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and promote the country’s tourism potential. The delegation will travel across various scenic areas in the north, showcasing Pakistan’s natural beauty and hospitality.
Later in the day, the delegation will meet with Advisor to the Prime Minister and Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination, Rana Sanaullah, who has issued special directives to ensure a smooth and successful visit.
Rana Sanaullah emphasized that the arrival of the Omani bikers reflects the close and friendly relationship between Pakistan and Oman. He added that such cultural exchanges play a vital role in promoting tourism and deepening people-to-people connections between the two countries.
The expedition also serves as a message of peace and friendship, aimed at fostering goodwill and enhancing diplomatic and cultural ties through shared experiences in sports and travel.
