INDIA : In a middle school located in the Kurud block of Dhamtari district in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh, 35 students mysteriously have deep wound marks on their hands, which has surprised the public administration, while the students are not explaining any reason for this. According to an Indian media report, a news report received from Dhamdah in the Kurud block of Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh has not only disturbed people’s sleep but has also raised a serious question for the society, where not one or two, but 35 school children have injured themselves by cutting their hands with a blade or some sharp object. The entire village is in shock and fear after the news of the incident at the middle school, but doctors from the health department and education department officials have launched an investigation. According to the report, the incident came to light a few weeks ago when the parents of a child saw wounds on his hands, which caused them great concern. When the parents asked the child about it, he refused to explain. The parents took the child to school, where they questioned other students and learned that several other children had similar wounds on their hands. The report states that when all the children were interviewed, a total of 35 children were found to have stab wounds on their hands. This information reached both the parents and the school administration, after which there was a commotion in the school. The school administration summoned the children’s parents for a meeting to ensure that the young children do not repeat such actions in the future. On the other hand, the parents are very scared and worried about why the children cut their hands, while despite repeated questions, the children are avoiding telling the real reason. After the incident, a medical team, the education department, and a team of psychologists organized special counseling for the children and their parents at the school, and authorities strictly instructed teachers to keep a close eye on the activities of each child, while the school administration is also trying to find out why the children injured their hands. The report stated that this incident is not limited to the cutting of hands, but has also raised serious questions about the school education system and the safety of children. What do the children want to prove? Currently, no one has an answer to this question.
