In his statement, Dr. Advani said that exactly one year ago, Pakistan faced what he described as an unprovoked act of aggression by India, which was met with extraordinary bravery, courage, and professional excellence by the armed forces of Pakistan.
He stated that the strong and effective response by Pakistan’s military not only inflicted heavy losses on the enemy but also exposed India internationally, resulting in global embarrassment rarely witnessed in modern history.
Dr. Advani termed the victory a symbol of national unity, the professionalism of the armed forces, and the visionary leadership of the country.
He further said that to preserve the memory of what he called the enemy’s humiliating defeat, it had been decided to commemorate the day annually as “Marka-e-Haq,” enabling future generations to remember the spirit of sacrifice, patriotism, and national defence.
Highlighting the role of minorities, Dr. Advani said Pakistan’s Hindu community stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Armed Forces and remains fully committed to the defence, unity, and prosperity of the country.
He described Marka-e-Haq as a bright and golden chapter in Pakistan’s national history that would always be remembered with pride and continue inspiring the nation with the message of unity, courage, and patriotism.
